On March 5, 2018, the Clinic hosted the activists fighting for justice for Japanese military comfort women. Judith Mirkinson, the leader of Comfort Women Justice Coalition, discussed the efforts to install a memorial on comfort women, the Japanese government's efforts to sabotage, and its role in the world women's movement. KS Park, the professor of the Clinic presented the legal evalution of the recent defamation judgment on "Comfort Women of the Empire".
In 2021, the Clinic supports the creation of an online archive of documentary evidence of the military sexual slavery by the Japanese military during World War II, established at UCLA for the specific source of qualifying the material as the sources of secondary education curriculum in California. In 2022, the Clinic's instructor KS Park later publishes an article on the inapplicability of state immunity doctrine to the 'comfort women' survivors' lawsuit against the Japanese government. The tenor of the article was embraced by the Korean court that affirmed the applicability of the damages judgment in that lawsuit.
